 Dvorak Serenade op. 44, which horn?

Is the opus 44 scored for Bb or A? My bet is A, but I've been dead wrong before.

Just wondering.

Bb and optional A.the first 2 mvts are in Bb
the 3rd all in A if one chooses.
the 4th has both Bb and A parts.
Again, it's in a easier key if one switch clarinets when the part has it marked.

same goes for 2nd clarinet

Yes. First two movements are in Bb, the 3rd is in A, and the last half or so of the 4th movement is in A. The keys are tremendously easier to deal with if the intended clarinets are used.
