 Normandy 10

I just got through overhauling a Normandy clarinet which is marked "Normandy 10". Now I have seen Normandy 4's, and even an occassional Normandy 5 or 6. I assume these instruments were made before they became a part of the LeBlanc line. I have two questions:
1) Does the nomenclature, as it ascends, denote a more professional instrument? ( I ask because this instrument is MARVELOUS in tone quality and the ability to play in tune.)
2) Has anyone else ever heard of a Normandy 10?

John
