Has anyone ever heard of a clarinetist named Andy Firth? I visited his website. He's apparently one of the best clarinetists in the world. At least that's what his website said. I've never heard of the guy until I stumbled on the website. Has he made any recordings? I would really like to hear him play.
His website address is http://www.users.bigpond.net.au/FirthTime/

Absolutely. From the Land Down Under, he is a Player's player. Andrew Firth was at an Oklahoma Symposium & also ClarinetFest held in Norman. IMMSMR, I have 2 of his CD's which lean toward the Jazzy side of things. I attended one of his Master Classes & he was terrific. He is an inspiration in many ways as he was self taught for quite a time.

The last time I was at the Lomax mouthpiece website, they had an excerpt of his playing that you can listen to.
Best regards,
