I was wondering if there was any music around for this particular combination (if not euphonium, then something similar).
In my aural skills class this semester, I was thrown together with a euphonium player and a piano player to play transcriptions of major orchestral/chamber works. We've been working together quite well, and I thought it would be nice to form an ensemble with them, but I don't know if there is any music for us to play. (I've done a search on the compositions pages here and haven't found anything). I'd also appreciate suggestions for pieces that would work well as transcriptions.

I have no knowledge of Euph/Baritone music, but their ?similarity? to French horn, trombone, alto/bass cornet/tpt tonalities, and similar range to alto/bass clarinet might give you a start. These transpositions might be fairly simple also. Luck, Don

Rather than look for music that is intended for "clarinet + something + piano", I think you might do better to look for music for "trumpet + something + piano". Where the "something" is most likely trombone.

If there are so many people on this board unwilling or unable to have a civil and balanced discussion about important issues, then I shan't bother to post here any more.
To the great relief of many of you, no doubt.
