Hi to Dave, Don B, RS and all our Bass players. Have any of you tried the Rovner EVO-5 as yet? I have and use all the other Rovners but don't care for the Eddie Daniels. Have a problem fitting it to any of my mpc's. This looks like it might be useful. Any reports?

My answer to Mr. Bob A,
is: I've not tried the Rovner today!
Nor was yesterday's gig
performed on a new lig...
I just use metal Vandys -- OK?

Dave:
Walin at Rovner's said, "Swell".
The Bass Model's called the E-3RL.
They will give me a trial,
but t'will be a short while;
A matter of 4 to 6 weeks.
I recalled that you use bits of tin,
the cheap Vandy with bumps that is thin.
I bought what you said
but the response was so dead
I got just the flutters and squeaks.
But you get the gigs on your old Vandy ligs,
And me? Just an old wanna-be!

Hi Bob - I haven't seen/tried a new Rov, may do so in OKC/Norman [OU Cl Symp] this weekend, also plan to try out the Ridenour Bass, perhaps Amati and Yamaha if available. I have tried a Rovner reversed, with the bars on the edges of my [soft] reed, ala Bonade. Played fine, but still prefer my M Lurie, feel more secure,I guess ! So Yer a poet too ! Will report. Don B
Thanx, Mark, Don
