 Serious Clarinet Student

I am a Sophmore Music Education major at a southern University. I do not have the option of majoring in performance as my university does not offer that program. But, I do wish to pursue Clarinet Performance in graduate school. I am wondering what are some good schools to study at, what repitoire should I have prepared, and what else do I need to do to get ready for graduate school. My degree program does not emphasize clarinet performance, so all preparation must be done on my own. I am asking for some guidance and direction.
