 new swing band

For those who miss the era of Goodman, Shaw, Herman, et cetera, there is reason for some optimism. The city where I live (Burlington, Ontario, Canada) has just started a swing band (in addition to the community concert band) and it is being led by a clarinet player.
The first concert is tomorrow and the 800 available tickets sold out in just a few days (I was too late/slow to get any), demonstrating that there is a healthy demand for it.
