Cypress California teacher wanted

Hi.

I'm looking for someone that lives in southern california to teach me clarinet.
I live in Cypress (Orange County). An advanced student would be ok as I don't know how many "teachers" there are in this area who read this bulletin board who are interested in an adult advanced beginner.

Hi Warren!

You might check at the Orange County musician's union building(see the Yellow Pages) which shouldn't be too far away from you. I've met some good players from there but can't seem to find them now. Chuck Herrbach lives in North Long Beach but that is probably too far for you to drive. You might also check the music department at UC Irvine. I've gone there to check for library music. I'm too far away for a regular commute on the 405.

One could also call John Barcellona, the very fine flute teacher at UCal Long Beach, for a recommendation.
