 Glotin Chedeville
Author: Clarinetist

Hi!

I noticed yesterday that I have a chance to try Glotin chedeville mouthpieces in a music shop nearby. What is the material that they are made of? It doesn´t look like a regular hard rubber mouthpiece. Instead it looks like softer rubber. So, anyone have accurate information? Have someone had the possibility to try one? Did you like it?

Thanks

The Glotin Ched is made from a rubber formulation sourced in Europe by Guy Chadash and Chris Hill. They were going for not just the dimensions of the old Chedeville but also the same characteristics from the material itself. You can contact either Chris or Guy and they will give you as much if not more info than you ever expected on these 'pieces. The mouthpiece distributed by Glotin is a private label of the Chadash-Hill.

Go to www.chadashclarinet.com and there is info as well as contact links.
