 Premiere Rhapsodie Dubussy alternate fingerings

Hi bboard peoples!

Im playing Debussy's Premiere Rhapsodie and I was having trouble in some parts having to do with alternate fingerings.

At the end where is says Plus anime, 8 measures after that where the trills in the high notes are, what can I use to get a really fast Bb to C trill and then back down to the A Ab and G (the three little grace notes) Also with those chromatics at the end Im having trouble playing those fast enough and making them clear. Well thats all, thank you for your help.

I just use regular fingering on the plus Anime, trill with the first two fingers and think of the grace notes as starting with a Bb. The chromatics at the end take practice (and slow to start) but what works for me is :1st measure std fingering playing the B(or Cb) with both pinkies down and the Db with the lft. 2cd measure Cb-rgt pinky, C lft pnky, Db rgt, C lft, Db rgt than the D & Eb

For the Bb trill, try Bb with the chromatic left hand sliver fingering, and trill to C with the bottom two right hand trill keys. It's very quick, in tune, and makes getting around to the grace notes a snap.

Hi,
Thanx, I used what you guys said so far and its helping, I just needed to work slowly on those chromatics and finally got the fingerings worked out. I made the mistake of trying to play what was on the recording right away! But I just took it slow

Something else came up while I was practicing. Two measures before the Un peu retenu there are three trills. C# to D# is ok, heres the confusing part, is it D# to F? And then the one after that, its A# to C or C#, Im listening to the recording and it doesnt make sense to what I was playing. Well thank you

I have the Durand edition and the d# is marked tr~# (E#) so to the F, and the A# to a B
