I don't know the details... it's all in the making but it looks like Karl Leister is going to be the guest artist at the Northern Illinois University Clarinet Cornucopia for next year. I know he will be going to several states on his visit to the US but will be exclusively giving master classes at NIU.

Blast.
And I was all packed up and ready to go, too.
It'd be nice to attend some of his classes. Do you have to be a student at NIU to attend his classes? Or as there an actual entry fee?

No you do not.
it's through the NIU Clarinet Corucopia which is open to everyone. There is a fee for attending and in order to play for Mr. Leister you will have do a recording.

I have heard he is also coming to the University of Florida. Hopefully I'll get to go with the other clarinetists from my school since my "high school conservatory" is made possible through a UF-Dade County Public Schools-Miami Dade College partnership.
