I was thinking of halfheartedly calling them on their bluff and making a phone call, but figured it wasn't worth the aggravation I'd have to put them through. Not to mention I'd probably be blacklisted and probably start receiving only the RETURNED instruments/mouthpieces/accessories instead of fresh ones from the factory.

As I recall, the 605 is the full Boehm model. No doubt the Boehm ordinaire ACL-601II is less expensive, eh?

I believe for the 601 they also send you a check for $300. Don't quote me, but I THINK that's the deal. Or they can give you monthly payments of $25 , for six months with no interest (same as cash) before the interest kicks in.
