 Dental Implants

Wish me luck. Today, I’m having my lower front teeth removed and implants inserted. Fortunately, my dentist is also a clarinetist, and at his suggestion, the implants will be made of Arundo Donax. In about a month, they will have rooted sufficiently that I can use them for reeds. They grow fast, so I’ll always have a fresh reed. The downside is that the roots may grow down and out of the bottom of my chin, but I should be able to sand them off easily if I don’t let things get out of hand.

Has anyone else tried this?

Ask your dentist if he'll throw in a Ridenour ATG system for daily maintenance [wink] ... GBK

It sounds a bit like rat's teeth, or pig's canines to me. (They, too, keep growing. ) You may get squeeks!

Here's a good April Fool's implant kick: Your dentist tells you he made an error on the cost and finds that it will only cost you $1000.....gotcha!

Trouble is . . . you would only get one good tooth in the whole jaw.

(Which is fine if you like both kinds of music . . . country AND western.)
