If you had no idea, today's the birthday of one of the most accomplished clarinetists of our day, and possibly the most acclaimed female clarinetist in history. She, of course, is Sabine Meyer, one of my personal favorite artists.

Then pl. send a birthday card to her. But I do not appreciate her recent recording of the Clarinet Concerto K622 with EMI in 2001. The 2nd and 3rd movt. run too fast.

She plays the weber´s concertos pretty well though, with a nice and dark sound.
