Sutermeister help

Can anyone direct me to any kind of master lesson type article or performance suggestions on the Sutermeister Capriccio? I am working on it, but just can't quite seem to capture what I want it to be.

I don't know of any, but I could send you my Junior recital tape from 1988...

Seriously, first you should define what it is you want to capture...then tape yourself and experiment with all of the options you can find.

The Sutermeister is not easy, but it has to sound that way. There are constant witty turns of phrase that you need to toss off with a smile and a slightly raised eyebrow. You need to do serious woodshedding on the tricky parts, so they come out neat and effortless.

I was at a Philippe Cuper master class where he emphasized that if you it right, the audience ends up laughing.
