Avrahm Galper's "New Vent"

Has anyone tried the new vent by Avrahm Galper? I saw this item mentioned on his web page and I just wondered if anyone had any experiences with it...

A brief patent search turned up US 5,241,890 [1993] which MAY be the vent in the publicity. Not having an R 13 [my L 7's Bb sounds good to me] I had passed over it earlier and hope I am not doing any injustice to anyone.
