I'm trying to put together a recital of clarinet chamber music. I know that there is a ton of good ww quintet stuff. But what I'm wondering is where to look to find good clarinet duets, trios, etc. I don't want to to clarinet choir things though.
So far the Poulenc duet is the only thing on the program. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks.

Crussell wrote three duos for clarinet. I've played these and enjoyed them very much. I believe Beethoven has also written duets for clarinet and bassoon. I haven't played these but I imagine they would be great to play.

One of the best compilations of clar music I know of is in Jack Brymer's "Clarinet". Others with listings are Lawson, Pino, Stein etc. There are numerous duos, trios etc available, of course by Mozart and Handel and others. An inexpensive booklet entitled Clarinet Sessions has a beautiful trio by Mozart, one of my favorites. Luck, Don

How about the Clarinet Quartet (3 Bbs and bass) by Alfred Uhl?? Great piece, lots of fun and well worth the effort musically.
