It's not a dumb question, but IMO you need to see your doctor to rule out pneumonia before you continue you play. Pneumonia is nothing to trifle with and can permanently damage your lungs if it isn't treated.
Play some CDs instead of your clarinet.
IMO cleaning your mouthpiece carefully after you recover should make it safe, otherwise every kid in school who shares an instrument would get sick.
