I bought a Buffet 1193-2 last year and have two questions.
-In Germany these instruments are delivered with a mp which is ( i suppose) manufactured in Germany by ESM (the EPE JM facing, 1.90, 26mm). Is this mp delivered in other countries as well?
-If yes: I have not too much experience. Are there many people who play this mp, or is it ( like the soprano Buffet mps) rubbish?

I know of at least one professional clarinetist who thinks the stock Buffet bass mouthpiece is the best he's every played.

Still, you can't go wrong with a Hite or Grabner bass mouthpiece (or several others).
(DISCLAIMER: I've probably spent a total of five minutes in my entire life playing a bass.)

The ESM (Ernst Schreiber) EPE JM bass clarinet mouthpiece is pretty good, and is NOTHING LIKE the cheap plastic mouthpiece sold with some new Buffet Bb soprano clarinets --- do not confuse the two!
