What are they?
I guess there would more than likely be:
Beethoven 6
Brahms 3
Mendelssohn Scherzo from Midsummer Nights Dream
Ravel Daphnis & Chloe
but what else? Which Stravinsky is most common if at all and does Bartok Miraculous Mandarin crop up often?
Kodaly Dances of Galanta too- is this commonly asked for.
What about any Mahler?
Thanks

A comprehensive survey and tabulation of more than 100 American orchestral audition lists (from 1969 to 1989) is found in The Clarinet Volume 17 Number 3 - May/June 1990.
Here is a brief list of some of the most commonly asked orchestral excerpts. As many of the orchestral excerpt books (International, Bonade) contain typos and mistakes, it is best to learn the complete works from the original parts.

Are you familiar with the "Orchestra Musicians's CD-ROM Library"? I just picked up clarinet vol.1......it includes all clarinet parts for all the Beethoven symphonies plus much more. I thought it was a lot of music for under $20 . I think you need Acrobat Reader to print the parts.
