Now why can't they do this on clarinet? http://www.selftuning.com/index2.htm Wouldn't you love to push a button and see the joints go in and out until everything was perfect?

From watching the video clips I'd say it looks as though Jimmy Page has developed a bit of a pot belly, not to mention the monk incognito hair style. And to think he was so skinny back in the day.

More reasons:

To change your sound on guitar, all you have to do is plug a pedal in.

No need to transpose, just buy a capo! A heck of a lot cheaper than an A clarinet.

Please show me a capo that lowers the pitch 1/2 step, so my Bb guitar plays in A.

I just tuned my guitar to the theremin in the Page movie and now I sound just like Jimmy!

Ken
that's the coolest! I am not really as anal as others about "tuning", butt
and it's a big butt.....a computer controlled tuning mechanism in my R-13 or Leblanc LL would be neat....'specially in my SILVER KING......
Question is,,,,,,,,where would "they" or "I" put the chip or whatever....needed to accomplish the tuning "task"?
