I was just randomly going through wwbw.com's effers and I came across the student Eb clarinet for a very cheap price. It's Woodwind Eb Soprano Clarinet (am I allowed to link?) and.... I don't know.

Another thought (random, of course), has anyone heard of a soft case (ex. Protec) for eefers? That AREN'T combo cases?

Depends on what you need it for ... if your playing is just "for fun" then its probably money well spent. Professional level Effers ARE expensive ... nature of the beast really. And beasts they are.

A soprano sax case will usually fit an Eb.

Best regards.
