I just got the ABC tool from ABC2win (ww.abc2win.com)
Absolutely fantastic! I took me only 30 minutes to learn enough of the ABC notation to transpose the few sections of the Mozart Requiem Mass that call for either a C or an A clarinet (too much trouble to switch clarinets for a few unexposed moments).
As well, I will start soon working on some Rachmaminov songs which are just perfect for the clarinets.
When I am fully fluent with ABC, I will transpose to Beethoven' violon concerto mvt III (of Michael Colins fame) as it is a mvt that actually works very well on the clarinet (contrary to Mvt 1 and 2).
I plan to post this work in ABC format somewhere (would this site be a good place?). If anybody out there is already working with ABC for clarinet music, maybe this site could become an exchange venue where we would all trade ABC clarinet music with each other.

Seems cute, an easy way of entering notation, but I'm not sure if it warrants a new section of this board. While considerably pricier (and sometimes a bit flaky), it's just as easy to enter music into Finale now.

I already warehouse Finale files (and their PDF conterparts) ij the Music section of http://www.woodwind.org, this would be no different.
There's still the same problem of policing the uploads for copyrighted material.
