 bass clarinet age

Need some help with the aproximate age of a CONN bass clarinet w/dual octave
mechanism. Serial # B195769L (does the L stand for low pitch?)

Is it the Low E [only] wood? B C like mine? I'll check my ser #, but believe it is about 1940 +/- 5 to 10 years, still a playable bass cl. Prob, LP. Don

1927.

Soprano Conns of that vintage are generally rubber, but the harmonies were all wood.
