You can get tons of advice by searching the boards here. Also, http://www.woodwind.org has plenty of links with recommended study materials, information about equipment, and tons of general information. Not to mention http://www.ocr.woodwind.org and http://www.wfg.woodwind.org. Some of the sponsors have interesting articles and stuff to say about the instrument as well.
And if you can't find anything specific while searching, ask the question and most likely it will be answered by those who know a lot more than me. (meaning it'll be answered by a LOT of people). I'd like to put in a recommendation that you pick up a copy of The Clarinet and Clarinet Playing by David Pino. It was very fascinating and I find myself re-reading many parts as I try to remember all the good information set forth in there. My next book I'll be purchasing will probably be Keith Stein's The Art of Clarinet Playing. Incidentally, David Pino was a long-time student of Keith Stein. So I'm curious as to how/if these two books might differ on similar subjects.

PS - Find a good teacher to help you along. Doesn't have to be the greatest in the world, just someone that can teach you and guide you through your travels. There was a recent thread discussing where to find such teachers. I remember them saying to contact local orchestras and symphonies and ask if any of the members teach privately, contacting a college's music department and asking them if they will teach or if they could recommend a good student to teach you, or asking around in HS music departments would probably help too.
