I think Richard Stolzman has recorded it?

The clarinet/piano edition of K.191 that I have is published by Edition Musicus New York, Inc.

The clarinet part is arranged and edited by Paul Dahm.

The copyright is 1963, and I probably bought it shortly after that. Thus, I'm not sure of current availability...GBK

Seems like folly to me ...

Without music, the world would be grey, very grey.

I like to play the Mozart on the bass clarinet. I use Bernie Garfield's arrangement. I just transpose it. When the notes are tenor clef, you read them off the page like it's treble clef. When it's in bass clef, you transpose down a fifth. And change the key (play in C movements 1 and 3, G in movement 2)

It's not any different than playing the Arpeggione Sonata (D821) on clarinet...GBK

I agree with Pinner ... why bother. Besides, the bassoon makes enought of a fool of it self with its limited repertoire without having some taken away.

I don't think the repertoire of the bassoon is that limited.

Vivaldi alone gave the bassoon 37 concerti ...GBK
