ok, here are two questions:
1)What is a good concerto written for Eb sopranino clarinet that is easaly avaliable with a piano reduction?
2)What is a good concerto written for Bb contrabass clarinet that is redaly avaliable with a piano reduction?

perhaps the mozart concerto for the contra.....

Wow, if you can play something HALF as hard as the Mozart concerto on the contra, I'm amazed. I tried playing one for a semester, and thank goodness I didn't have any difficult passages. That thing played like a bus.
Can you even get higher than C on one? I couldn't figure out how, except by biting the reed, which did not produce a pleasant or very controlable tone.

Yes, I can play the mozart clarinet concherto on the eefer, and would love to perform it if there was ever a piano reduction in Eb.
The highest I have played on the sopranino is its A above thumb C. The highest I have ever played that was written in music is the G just below that A, and that is in the Mozart concherto.
The highest note I have ever played in performance is the high F just below that G, in Chester. I hold it for six or something bars, and it is so tough to play in tune that high.
The only down side to all this is I can only practice while I am alone, else people start to threaten my, the instrument, etc.
