It doesn't appear that much has been said about this product: The Orchestra Musician's CD-rom Library. I got it today and it looks to be a great resource for orchestra muscians or those who aspire to be. It has the clarinet parts for the majority of the Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Berlioz, and Rossini orchestra works - both the 1st AND the 2nd parts. I thought I was just getting the 1st parts, and as a 2nd player I couldn't believe my good luck to see the 2nd parts, too!
The cd-rom comes with Acrobat to read the pdf files if you don't have it. You can print the music on your printer. I printed on regular 8.5 X 11 paper and it is a bit small, but very readable.
I think Gary Van Cott might carry this. The ISBN is 0-6340-6595-5. It cost about $20. There must be 70 or 80 complete 1st and 2nd parts on this thing.

Yes, my private teacher suggested that I get one! He suggested doing so rather than getting a book of excerpts. I think it is a great idea! And I as well did not realize that it has both the 1st and 2nd parts. I am looking into getting a copy for myself! :o)
