About five days ago, after fearing circular breathing and never trying it for many years, I began teaching myself how to do it. I'm at the point where I can do it without much loss in sound quality or change in volume, with an 80%+ success rate, IF I'm just trilling or holding a note (I can't play music while doing it yet.) I tried to tongue notes while doing circular breathing, and it seems to be impossible. My clenched cheek muscles make my tongue pretty much immobile. Am I doing it wrong, or is it really impossible?

It seems reasonably OK to incorporate a single 'tongue' when changing from squirting out a mouthful of air, back to the lung blowing phase of the cycle.

I'm just a beginner and I think it works unless I'm doing everything wrong.
