 Lessons from a True Master
Author: wjk

I am very fortunate and honored to have resumed lessons with a true master musician---GBK. Rarely in my life have I learned so much in one sitting. His total command of the clarinet, and incredible tone and technique are truly awe inspiring. His knowledge of music is truly encyclopedic. His brilliant suggestions on fingerings, technique, and equipment have opened up new worlds for me. I plan to work on everything from Brahms to Buddy DeFranco and beyond!

wjk....I sincerely believe you! GBK continues to impress me with the knowledge (and poetic skills) he shares with us on this Board. Too bad GBK lives a bit too far away for me to realistically consider him as my teacher (assuming he would lower himself by taking me on as his student!). Perhaps he makes house calls??? You are indeed lucky!

On the other hand, I do have an excellent teacher right now within a convenient radius from my home. But if I ever moved to the Hamptons.......

Henry
