does anyone know what the clarinetmpcs Otto link Reso Chamber sound like?
I have found one in a swedish buyandsell site but the one who is sellin doesnt know how it sounds cause he has never tryed it.
this is a long shot cause the piece is so old and rare. the reso chambers these days is only for saxophones...
do anyone know it's background or an official homepage for Otto Link????
the mpc serialnumber is: 2334
I have the same problem with a Brilhart. all i know about it is that it were made in carlsbad in carlifornia in the 50's...
anyone know anything about these mpcs??????

I've played two different (actual) Otto Link MPCs when I start looking for a new clarinet MPC, but I was really disappointed. I love my OLs for my tenor sax, they are pretty nice, but the clarinet was a complete different story, perhaps a singularity, but I'm not sure about.
There are four(!) big or really big woodwind dealers here in Hamburg and the last time I checked for mpc, three of them had a Otto Link in stock and I've seen some Brilhart, too. I didn't know about the situation in sweden and where you live, but a tt-line ticket is really cheap and it's not to far from the harbour until Hamburg (aprox. one hour by train / car)

J.J. Babbitt is the company that produces Otto Link, Meyer and Wolf Tayne mouthpieces. They have a web site, just search under Babbitt. Facing sizes, models etc. are all available on the site. The Selmer USA site, www.selmer.com , they seem to be distributors, have a lot of info on Brilhart.
