Hey there I need ya'll op. will this stuff work to replate clarinet keys with a nickel plate. thanx for the advice

The best job with electroless nickel on previously nickel plated steel requires that the old nickel plating be removed first. And abrasive removal is the best way to go,
Whether this also applies in the case of brass base metal, I don't know, but surely you could contact the company for suggestions on that.

If the subject "stuff" is in fact true electroless nickel please be aware that e.n. plating can be problematic and can come out gray/black color.

I use the Caswell electoplating systems, to some good results.
The fiinal level of finish is absolutely dependent on the polished underlayer.
******
If it's rough metal under the 'topcoat', it will never look good or wear well.
It also seems that the electroless plating system is rather large...
if you don't use up the solution in plating, what will you do with the remainder?
The pen-type wands allow you to apply plating materials to small areas.
If you have large areas, or lots of keys, to replate, best to have it done by a professional with large tanks.
