Univ. of Miami

Hey there I'm just curious whether or not this has a highly regarded School of Music is it performance based or Ed. thanx alot

From what I have heard and the people I have met from Miami, I believe it is more performance oriented. If you are in Florida and music ed is your thing, Florida State is generally regarded as having a good ed program. I also know that Miami has a good jazz program. For clarinet, most of the people I have met are not necessarily orchestral players, but really good teachers. It is not a bad school by any means.
