Hi,
Have been researching clarinets and I stumbled upon a "Monique". Is this a good clarinet? Is it student, intermediate, or professional? I found it at Dominic's Music .com, you can check it out there. Is it beneficial to have gold-plated keys, or is it just showy.
Thanks

My repair tech has a list of instruments he will not repair.
Monique is in the top ten.
There are much better ways to blow $250...

Clay asks, of the Monique Clarinet-shaped object: "Is it student, intermediate, or professional?"
I believe the proper answer is "no" to all.
Regards,
John

It falls into the "lamp" category
Though if I can find one cheap, I'll pick it up for some experimentation into new and unusual ways of assembling the clarinet.
