I'm ordering reeds online as it's SO much cheaper to do - I can get 2 boxes of Vandoren V12's for less than what it costs to get from a store these days!
What is the best store to order from, especially for international orders? Keeping in mind I only want 2 boxes! Brook Mays has a minimum, and then their shipping was quite expensive...

I don't know about international orders, but I know of two good companies. Houston Band Instrument Company out of Houston, Texas has the cheapest V-12 prices; however, if you send a check to Weiner Music, I believe you get free shipping (I may be wrong, and I wouldn't think that that would apply to international orders.) Houston Band's website is www.houstonband.com and Weiner's website it www.weinermusic.com
Hope this helps!!

LeWhite, the only problem with ordering from the US is the cost of freight. The best service I have had in this regard was from The Doctor who handles only Gonzalez reeds. I understand that Discount Reeds are also reasonably economical. Check the delivery costs by e-mail, all the retailers will give you a quote. If you try Weiner's I would be interested in knowing whether he has moved down from his minimum price of $40 to Oz.

What is the Doctor's email address/website? I'd like to look into these.
