Many thanks to Mark, GBK and all the BB contributors. This year I've been playing with a community band after a many year hiatus from playing. It has really been a great experience. I don't believe I would have gotten this far without the knowledge and support I've gotten from this board.
just wish the dump was open to-day.

We don't have Thanksgiving here, but - well, thanks, Mark! This is definitely the king of all message boards! An awful lot of work must go on behind the scenes to make it so user-friendly.
Thanks again,
Jo

Indeed - happy thanksgiving to all who participate. Not an Australian event, either, but I will be attending a thanksgiving lunch on Saturday with an ex-pat American friend - looking forward to the turkey and pumpkin pie (et cetera).

I am also in Australia and do not celebrate Thanksgiving, but I see no reason not to be thankful for this bulletin board as well as the rest of the site- it is really helpful and interesting.

Yo, add my appreciation as well. It's been great coming here to learn so much more about this instrument I've played for so many years but never really known as well as I should have.
Happy Thanksgiving! And to our overseas friends, thanks for the well-wishes.
I freakin' LOVE Thanksgiving!!

This board has guided and inspired me to really clean up my playing. I appreciate it. If I hadn't had found this board, I wouldn't have been able to find many different opinions on things and see all sides of issues. I'd be stuck with only my instructor's opinions and his buffet/gigliotti world instead of variety to help me make a choice.

There are too many other things to give thanks for in my personal life, but I think this one is a common "thread" amongst us all.

As a recently new arrival here, I just want to say thanks too. It's been so much fun and I've been learning many things. It's a great place to be!
