Ladies and Gentlemen for those have not experienced Western International Band Clinic you are greatly missing out. Over the weekend I had the greatest time playing my clarinet and listening to other's perform. Most impressive performence was the Iwakuni Commercial High School Band from Iwakuni City, Japan conducted by Hiromichi Fujimoto with a few guest conductors, one of them being Alfred Reed himself.
Besides hearing the great groups I was under the guidence of some amazing conductors, Ralph Hultgren, Robert Ponto, Larry Hudson, Ray Cramer, Geoffrey Brand, and Dr. Tim. I'm still in shock from the experience but all the money put into it was well worth it! Anybody who was there would probably agree with me on that one.
