Has anyone ever heard of Ralph Strouf ? He used to be the clarinet professor at the University of Denver and the University of Wyoming. Does anyone know how he's doing or where he is now ? I took lessons from him a while back and am curious.
Thanks.

Ralph is recently deceased. I'm at work and my Clarinet magazines are at home, so I can't pinpoint the issue, but there was a one-page in-memoriam tribute to him a couple of issues ago.

That's what I was afraid of. If you happen to know what the name of the magazine is and what issue it is, I'd be interested in trying to obtain a copy.
Thanks.

The magazine is "The Clarinet" and it is published by the International Clarinet Association. This web site will tell you more:
http://www.clarinet.org/
Back issues are available.
I will check tonight to see what issue has the article and post it tomorrow.
