A colleague of mine recently mentioned a great website called i-music available to Apple Mac users. It contains a huge range of songs from many, many artists, which you can buy via the Internet. Does anyone know if there an equivalent for PC users?

Are you possibly referring to iTunes? http://www.apple.com/itunes/That's Apple's big music store. Just recently, however, I believe that Apple has ported the Mac software to Windows, so I believe you can just download that software and browse through to see if you like it the selection. However, note that iTunes doesn't have a huge number of classical selections, at least in my experience. I was searching for the Grand Duo Concertant and Brahms Sonata No. 1 I believe, and neither were there.

Yes iTunes is now available on PC Windows-based systems, to coincide with the iPod being compatible under windows I believe. Not sure about the status of the online store, however.
My partner just purchased an iMac and an iPod. These are superior machines I now believe. Part of Apple Computer's selling point is "It just WORKS" and that is definitely true.
