Leblanc "Artist"

Well, thanks to JNK I went to the Leblanc site. The "Artist" designation is their professional model. So, I'm assuming that my Noblet 45 Artist model is a professional model that they don't make any more. I'm going to call Leblanc today to see if they can give me anymore info. I also have the model # which I hope will enable them to give me specific info.

This sure is fun being here. I'm glad I somehow stumbled upon this group. I like how it's so active :-)

I see that Leblanc now refers to their Concerto II as "[t]he next logical step in the evolution of the Leblanc artist line." In this context, I think that they are simply using "artist" in lieu of "professional" as an adjective (perhaps in recognition that some artists are amateurs [rotate]

). I am not aware that they have ever officially designated their high-end professional models as their "Artist Line." (And notice that they do not capitalize the "A" in artist in their ad.)

AFAIK, the model 45 "Artist" was not a higher-end model 45. It is simply what they called their model 45 for awhile. I don't believe there was ever a "model 45" and a "model 45 Artist" in production at the same time, though I could be wrong. In any case, however, Leblanc's professional models carry the Leblanc name. Noblet is strictly an intermediate line.
