GBK:
Thanks for the rapid response. The trill came up in some music my
daughter just received for an audition which will occur in a few weeks. She's upstairs practicing now, and it sounds good.

Ahhh... thrashed at the finish line again by GBK... but one can also do this in Clarion by depressing the register key and the throat Ab key (nothing else) to reach Eb6, then trill to F6 with the two upper side keys.
By the way, many Clarinets have different sized holes where you wouldn't expect them, so the "standard" Eb6 may work better if you try slightly different fingerings (many Clarinets will play better in Altissimo with "almost"-standard fingerings). For instance, using R1 and R3-sliver instead of R2 for the right-hand fingering of Eb6 may make a better sound, although in Clarion and Chalumeau the different sounds between using the two right-hand fingerings for Gb and B may be indistinguishable.
Regards,
John

You can also try trilling by lifting the middle finger instead of the ring finger. Slightly different tone and just pick whichever sounds closes to F. I use middle finger. Or you could just master the "three finger trill" and lift the pinky, ring AND middle finger.
I got used to using all three fingers and the only time I use the middle finger to go to F is when there's a grace note (as in mozart clarinet concerto movement 3). This way it comes out softer than lifting three fingers and there's much less of a chance of a "pop" by smacking three fingers down to get the Eb.

sfalexi... The fingering info you posted is for Eb5 to F5.
The original question was concerning the trill from Eb6 to F6...GBK
