The two most useful (and well-attended) sites I've seen are alt.music.sax on the usenet (access through deja.com if you don't have access to a usenet server directly) and the BB at http://forum.saxontheweb.net/. Also check out Skip Spratt's Sax Shed at http://saxshed.com/.

I know there's a flute board but can't remember what it is. Just put in a search for flute discussion board or flute message board, and you'll find it.

www.Flutes.tk has a list of all the flute boards, in quantity not quality.
sax on the web is probably the best sax message board site.
