 WINSLOW LIGS
Author: William
Date:   2003-11-06 16:19

I just spoke with John Winslow jr, and was assured that John sr. is doing well and still making his ligatures. However, due to undisclosed reasons, the orders are backed up and there is a waiting time "a few months" long for new requests. Some questions have been posted about these ligs and I hope by providing this wee bit of info, there will be no violtion of any personal promotional or advertising rules. Also, please do not contact me for any further information as John does not want me to provide any "contact" information or list of dealers selling his ligs. Too many "crank" calls. Just be informed that they are still being made and that John sr. is in good health.

(are we clarinetists really the cranky types or what?)

Maybe not cranky, but "or what" should cover our unusual characteristics!! Oh, yes, Winslow, I can find the older patent # if asked, have one, have heard it's best not to tighten them too much. Don

Thanx, Mark, Don
