66mm barrel is for 440Hz pitch
64mm – 442Hz
65mm – would be somewhere in between.

Of the several Evette & Schaeffer clarinets I have owned, almost all of them have had 65 mm barrels. This would make sense considering that Buffet marketed them as "student" horns, assuming students would tend to play flat and therefore provide a shorter barrel with the instruments. I would recommend you try the 64 mm barrel first, also recommend it be either a Moennig or Chadash design.

In the late sixties E&S had 66mm barrel. First R13's (in 1955) came with a 65mm barrel. Old LP Buffets had 68mm barrel.

Vytas, having a 66mm barrel on the E & S was not my experience. You have stated what you have found. My findings were: E & S's from 1961, 1964, 1968, 1970 and 1973 all had 65mm barrels.

I just measured E&S K213XX barrel again. It's 66mm.
I agree on early 60's barrels, they were 65mm. It is possible that later Buffet made 66mm & 65mm barrels for their Evette and E&S line of clarinets.
The Barrel on the D series 277X Evette is 65mm long.
