Hi,
Does anyone know of any mouthpiece makers who will help you put a facing on a mouthpiece blank you send them or do most of them only use their own blanks they make or buy themselves?
Has anyone selected their own favourite brand of blank (either hard rubber or crystal) and sent it off to their favourite mouthpiece maker to face it?
Thanks...

We are blessed by having a number of mp facer/refacers available "rite hear in River City" [BBoard]. For my needs, I'd ask Dave S for help. Don

I don't know of any of the major manufacturers that do this on a custom basis, it would probably disrupt their processes and tooling too much, I could be wrong however. You are better off using a specialist facer/ refacer.
