There is nothing about maintenance / cleaning the exterior of BAM double cases on their website, can anyone inform me of any tips they might have?

Do you have the X-Light or the Trekking?? I have the X-light double case... I have cleaned it yet, but I've considered using Armor-All or some similar cleaner/protectant for that kind of plasticy material. I don't know what you might use for a trekking...

For anyone reading this, I got an email from a fellow poster saying that armor-all and similar products may actually be harmful to some surfaces in the long run. Just thought I'd pass on the message before anybody takes my bad advice = )

I've been using Armor All on plastic and synthetic-material covered cases (several dozen) for the past year with no problem that I'm aware of. I'd like to know the long term harmful effect(s) and which surfaces are at risk.
