About a year ago I picked up a new case for my Bb.
It's a single case, made from polystyrene (spelling?), blue interior, and the outside is black material and the token Buffet emblem on it. It has no handle, but has a shoulder strap. It is extremely lightweight, and I love it, but now I have a BAM case and will need it when I get my A.
I could possibly get a picture if you need it, but I want to know what is this case and since when did Buffet manufacure these, and most importantly, can you get them in double and if so where from?
No-one else has one, and a lot of people have seen mine and searched everywhere for them but can't find them.
Thanks!

I purchased an extremely lightweight double clarinet case a couple of years ago at IMS. Originally, before the insertion of the styrofoam pad shaped to accomodate clarinet parts, it was a laptop PC carry case. A Yamaha logo was stuck over the original case name, which I do not recall this AM. It has a shoulder strap--no handles--and has an outside compartment large enough for concert size music. The interior compartments are not suitable for carrying much extra clarinet "gear" (knives, reed cases, etc), so when using this case--usually for air travel, I travel "light" and pack my accessories "stuff" in my checked baggage. It's lightness is great for those long walks between terminals at O'Hare International. Perhaps yor case was once a laptop case like mine.

No, definitely not, it is definitely a case, always was. I think I'll have to get a picture for this one...
