i found this awesome canadian reed case...it's really cool. It has a shiny black exterior...i think I saw ricardo morales with one.
Here's the description from a website
Holds 8 reeds on 2 solid glass beds
• Beds are tilted for easy access to reeds
• Polished black plexiglass exterior
• Rubber gasket seals case
• Small sponge in centre may be soaked for additional moisture
• Heavy duty hinges and latches
• Cushion top holds reeds in place
• Removable screws allow ventilation.

Robert DiLutis makes a beautiful reed case that works very well. You can order them from him or some of the mail order places. It also has a rubber gasket sealing the case, a grooved surface to enable better drying and circulation, a device to retain the right moisture and also a humidity gauge. It is a bit pricey, but a very well made and well designed accessory.
