I was amused by this. Apparently, Handel's Messiah is on the level of Eminem! LOL

Well... He did mention the word "virgin" in that work!
I can now tell people I've performed a banned piece! (And in church at that.)

D Dow asked:
> Can anyone really handle this story?
While I can usually Handel a few reading Sessions of Messiah, my Abel-bodied colleague Gersh grew tired and flew Bach home to London to gamble his money.
While walking up and down my Bloch looking for either a hairstylist or a Barber, I became jealous when I heard that Gersh had come into a small fortune by betting on the horses. Thinking of my decrepit one room apartment (more like a small Cage) and my last Crumb of bread turning green from mold, one Spohr at a time, I vowed never to visit Gersh at the race track in Great Britten.
It's always been difficult for me to watch Gersh(win)! ...GBK

Well, I'll be Franck. I'm going down to my favorite watering-hole to engage in a little friendly Bartok over Meyerbeer. It's been a Verdi Bizet week so I think I'll unwind with a Glass or two.

Maybe I'll go Chopin instead. I've got a long Liszt of things I want to buy. I just hope my old Kreisler minivan will start. I think it has a bad Piston. But I can always catch Debussy. Maybe even Khachaturian.

Weill those murky, Suppe, summer days are upon us, for sheer Bliss, Offenbach to the Beach I'll travel, taking the Bridge over the Bruch, making a quick Faure to my local Tavener to eat his world famous German inspired Rheinberger...GBK

Since there's no Dow to follow on this beautiful Sunday, I think I'll Mark the day by going to a quiet Glenn and feast on a Berger. Hope I won't Botch it!
