today while playing i found that my marching band clarient had a leak in it with the E/B and the C/F pads. i cant take it to a repairman before my gig so i have to fix it myself, any suggestions on how to fix it?

One thing for sure, almost every clarinet that comes in for servicing leaks to some extent here, and the solution is almost NEVER anything to do with linkages and corks. It is to do with the 'back' (nearest the pivot) of the pads(s) closing before the 'front'.
